The premier ocean swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty, in the south west of Western Australia. Since 1996, the Busselton Jetty Swim has grown from a local event to an internationally recognized event attracting in excess of 1000 competitors.

The Be Active Busselton Jetty Swim 2012 event will take place over 2 days with entertainment, activities and family-friendly fun, with the swim taking place on the morning of Sunday 5 February. 

 

The course is a swim of 3.6 km around the Busselton Jetty. Singles and teams of two and four are welcome. Be a part of the atmosphere and enter the best jetty swim in the world.

Geographe Bay Race Week is one of the most exciting weeks on the Summer calendar. With over 100 yachts from all over the state, and competitiors from all over the world, Geographe Bay lights up with excitement. Professional male and female surfers from all over the world will converge on Surfer's Point in Margaret River to compete for valuable rating points in the surfing world's number one qualifying series event! Be sure to check out this music and art extravaganza and see who will follow in the footsteps of last years winners Damien Hobgood and Courtney Conlogue.

Western Australia's round of the Australian Rally Championship attracts Australia's best cars and drivers, including the best classic cars. The rally also incorporates motor bikes, making it a weekend of Motor Sport Extravaganza.

Spectators can get up close to the action on the Busselton foreshore, the Nannup Plantations, and the Service Park, in the main street of Nannup.

Formally known as the Half Ironman, the Sunsmart Busselton Ironman 70.3, is an internationally recognised event, and attracts over 2000 participants and their supporters from around the world.  

The event consists of a 1.9 kilometre swim, in the pristine waters of Geographe Bay, a flat, fast paced 90.1 kilometre bike leg through the Tuart Forests, and finishes with a 21.1 kilometre run along the Busselton Foreshore.

In 2012 the Monaro Nationals will be held for the first time in Western Australia, on our very own shores of Busselton! This significant event will attract around 250 Monaro's from all over Australia. Local Businesses and community groups are welcome to become vendors at the Show-n-Shine, and items for sale do not have to relate to automotive products.
